‘Twende Nyumbani‘ and ‘Kuruka‘ hitmaker Ndegz has released a new music video titled ‘Dessert‘, an afro-pop piece that’s certain to continue his norm of popular club anthems.
In an era when the beat more often than not characterizes a song, thumping tunes, staccato trumpet audio and some mild auto tune coupled with Ndegz’ mellow voice make Dessert an easy listen which showcases his versatility and consistent vocal and production direction.
“No matter what you want in life, you have to work hard for it. It’s all about breaking a sweat and reaping the reward,” said Ndegz in a Media Release, adding, “If the video makes you want to dance then my job here is done.”
The video to Dessert, directed by ODIBZ from Team Mistari, was shot at the upcoming Rosslyn Riviera Mall, a shopping complex along Limuru Road, with styling by the award-winning stylist Brian Babu.
Choreographer Bruz Newton of the Bazokizo dance phenomenon lends his expertise in the video’s dance choreography that features Chalk & Cheese Dancers, seeking to explore new dance routines which trend in Kenya.
