Big Brother Naija housemates Soma and Miyonse bid their housemates goodbye this past weekend, on an eventful night that saw the host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu ask the two together with Efa, to vacate the premises.
As the Housemates left, amidst tears and shock from everyone, the evicted trio had no idea that they would be sent to the arena from then on, with two being asked to leave and one returning into the house.
After such an emotional roller coaster, and what seemed like an eternity in the arena, Ebuka announced Soma as the first evictee of the latest season Big Brother Naija. A visibly sad and upset Soma was ushered to the stage were the highlights of his stay in the house played out. He admitted to have enjoyed his intimate moments with Gifty and said he ‘kept it real’ in his short stay in the house.
The BBN host then called Miyonse, who had previously survived the first mock eviction, as the second evictee from the house, automatically securing Efe’s stay in the competition. He said he had no ill feelings toward any of the housemates as he knew it was just a game, even though it was ‘cuddle buddy’, TBoss, who had nominated him. He however expressed his disappointment.
A visibly grief-stricken TBoss still held on to fleeting hope that Miyonse would be asked to return.
With two Big Brother Naija housemates out of the house, nominations for the second evictions already commenced Monday night. The housemates have come to the realization that it is game that has to be played strategically in their quest for the grand prize. The next eviction show will be this Sunday, 13th February 2017.
The show is aired 24/7 in 45 countries from Nigeria through East, West and Southern Africa on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29.
