Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group is finally set to open its colourful new 4-star Park Inn by Radisson Nairobi Westlands after the Easter break.
Towering over the Westlands district skyline overlooking Waiyaki Way, the hotel’s theme, designed for the global Generation Y, is dashingly christened “Adding Colour to Life”, boasting colourful and dynamic art which will adorn the marble walls of the building.
Owned by AMS hotels and managed by Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, the hotel management says it will be focused on delivering modern essentials of any great hotel experience, resonating well with international and domestic travellers.
Park Inn by Radisson Nairobi Westlands has 11 floors with 140 guest rooms, also comprising a live-inn room lounge, informal meeting area and a modern roof top bar which overlooks a significant chunk of the city. Also, there’s a breakfast restaurant, a Hungry Kiosk and hello desk, a gym, Smart Meeting and function facilities, an outdoor terrace with sculpture garden and an outdoor plunge pool.
The live-inn room restaurant provides guests with a lifestyle hub where they can socialize and relax in the spacious lobby or enjoy reading in the Lounge. The live-inn restaurant is a bold new concept that delivers buzz and ambience, great food and friendly service in a modern setting.
I’ll share my first hand experience of the place when I visit after it opens. It will be interesting to see how it fairs against Four Points, Pullman and Tune Hotel.
