New ‘Justice League’ Trailer Reignites Hopes of Seeing Superman Join the Heroes

The jury is still out, or is it really, on whether Superman actually will join the glorious Justice League in this ‘All In’ trailer (and film) that’s the first attempt at merging the leading DC Extended Universe characters. It’s widely considered as the answer to Marvel‘s Box Office annihilating ‘The Avengers’ series and has at least a year’s head start of the upcoming ‘Infinity Wars’.

The latest trailer, the Official Heroes Trailer, begins with what looks like a reminiscent scene of Louis Lane [Kent?] dreaming about the last son of Krypton, as there’s a breakaway back to the reality that Superman is no more and the Universe has taken notice, choosing to attack Earth on a large scale, without its protector. This however proves to be the perfect cue for Batman and Wonderwoman to bandy together a sort of elite squad to defend the planet against a horde of thousands of aliens.

Wonderwoman, Batman, Cyborg, Aquaman and the Flash form the Justice League, absent Superman as in most of the comics and animations, but we all know how ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ ended on quite a suspect note, so I’ll just leave the speculation there for you to guess.

The scale and enormity of this production is unquestionable, taking into effect how attentive to detail, action and the nitty gritty that DC and Zack Snyder are. I’m curious to see how well DC will manage to improve on the relate-ability of its characters, somewhat like Marvel have done with extraterrestrial beings, without forsaking the unique soul its darker movies have.

I’d also love to witness the fusion of Mercedes Benz debut vehicles into the lives of Diana Prince and Bruce Wayne, as witnessed in the behind the scenes snippets shared on YouTube:

The film’s description, availed on the Warner Bros website, summarizes the fact that ‘it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions’, but we’re hopeful that being ‘All In’ means EVERY one of our metahuman heroes will be there to salvage things.

‘Justice League’ premieres mid-November 2017
