Marvel Studios has just unleashed a new trailer to the phenomenal upcoming blockbuster ‘Black Panther‘, based on the Marvel comic by the same name.
It’s the first time the African continent gets its own hero as the protagonist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, introducing T’Challa (played by Chadwick Boseman) as the new King of Wakanda, a technologically advanced nation rich in vibranium, a rare powerful metal that the world is taking notice of.
The newly crowned King must team up with his all-female special forces, the Dora Milaje, as well as the CIA, to prevent the Kingdom from being dragged into an all-out World War, following the cliff hanger we were left with at the end of ‘Captain America: Civil War’.
The trailer, aptly captioned ‘Long Live the King’ reveals even more of the mythical land that’s got everyone talking, and which had the first trailer of the film breaking the internet. From death-defying stunts and visual effects, gorgeous costumes and attire, to somewhat forced ‘African’ accents, the trailer is full of it all.
‘Black Panther’ stars Kenya’s Lupita Nyong’o as T’Challa’s love interest Nakia, Angela Bassett as Queen Mother Ramonda and Andy Serkis as Klaw.
