PlayStation 4‘s upcoming interactive drama genre game ‘Detroit: Become Human‘ is already making waves in the gaming industry ahead of its scheduled release in a couple of months.
Developers Quantic Dream have been teasing this android-centric video game since 2013, and have now given a release date of May 25th. The third-person action/adventure game follows the stories of three androids: Connor, a policeman who hunts his rogue brethren, Markus, somewhat a rebel who fights for android liberation, and Kara a servant who is exploring her newfound sentience.
Despite worries that single-player gaming is facing extinction, thanks to what has been largely perceived as limiting interactivity and more focus on the storyline rather than the gaming experience, Become Human has already been lauded for its unique thematic, even though Sony has honestly been really tight-lipped about what it has to offer.
“Detroit: Become Human” stars Jesse Williams, Valorie Curry, Bryan Dechart, and Minka Kelly.
